Nello Luchi - "I Remember" [Official Music Video]
Brooklyn based MC Nello Luchi drops off her new visual for the K'riem Scott–produced "I Remember," a joint off the EP 'Welcome: The Audio Movie, Pt. 1.' The track samples the Extra P (Large Pro) remix of Common's 1995 "Resurrection."
The song speaks on the artist's most vivid childhood memories of growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Nello opens the track by recreating the scene when she saw Lil Kim's tears as Biggie's body passed through his block during his funeral procession. She also drops a reference to Nas shouting out her block, where he known to come through and cop what was considered the best weed in all of The Stuy.
"At a time when Bed-Stuy has been greatly gentrified, the things I'm talking about is still the same sh*t going on right now," says the artist.
